is currently in daily use by more than 17 million Internet users worldwide. This works for Firefox and Google Chrome, but not Internet Explorer. This is one easiest Firefox add-ons. AdBlock Plus blocks online adsusing a predefined list of ad providers, plus you can ad your own. There is also a version for Google Chrome.

Another Firefox add-on. Not as popular, but is easy to use.

Most Tracking Software is a form of Malware
Prevention is actually rather simple. Have Malware Protection and for serious protection, do logging of outgoing data (this is for the very worried type!) The next article is for the very serious type worriers. Too much for me! My defense is primarily, don't do anything on the computer that can get me into trouble!
