Blue-Screen
Also known as "BSOD" or Blue Screen of Death , stop errors, Windows stop codes or sometimes Fatal Errors. These errors can be caused by a variety of errors, and require more technical expertise than the “newbie”, or even an average PC user can deal with. Stop Errors are frequently caused by bad video drivers (software used to control hardware in your PC).

Typically the PC technician would try to start the PC in
safe mode, then go to the device manager, and look for device driver errors, delete the drivers, then reinstall the correct drivers! Do you want to try this? …. If so, you are more experienced than this site is designed for, or…. You may be more brave than you are smart!
Typically, you may have catastrophic hardware failure, more often it is a Operating system error (XP, Vista or Windows 7). This can also be caused by overheating. If you turn your computer off, and wait for it to cool off, it may run again for awhile. But, you better fix the over-heating, before the problem gets worse!
